The space
Portside Escape is a self-contained studio offering a thoughtfully designed open-plan space that includes a queen-size bed, a compact dining area, all in one harmonious setting. The room is filled with natural light and styled with calming coastal tones and warm textures.

The kitchenette has essentials for preparing light meals, including a mini-fridge,microwave, kettle, toaster, rice cooker and basic utensils. The modern ensuite bathroom features a walk-in shower, plush towels, and quality toiletries.

Guests can also access an outdoor seating area to enjoy their morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while soaking in glimpses of Lyttelton’s harbour below.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire downstairs studio, which is fully self-contained and completely independent from the upstairs residence. The studio has its private entrance and is not shared with anyone else.

Please note: access to the property is up a hill, a short stroll from the heart of Lyttelton.
There is a pedestrian access way to the Lyttelton centre, which is a shortcut for guests.
